I currently use the Zoeller Basement Sentry High Performance Combo in my home. It’s a reliable setup consisting of a 1/3HP 120V AC primary pump and a 12V DC backup pump (powered by a 12V/100Ah lead-acid battery). Living in a flood-prone area, both pumps are often triggered to run simultaneously during snowmelt or heavy rain—providing the drainage power I need.
However, I’ve always had one concern:
What if the power goes out during a storm?
Would the small 12V backup pump alone be enough?
To address this, I added PUMP PARTNER to the system.
Now, I connect both the main AC pump and the backup pump’s charger to PUMP PARTNER. This not only extends backup runtime but—more importantly—ensures both pumps can operate simultaneously even during a power outage, without sacrificing any drainage performance.
It’s an extra layer of protection that brings real peace of mind.
